Nasio Trust, a UK and Kenya based charity, empowering communities in rural Kenya through education, healthcare and sustainable livelihoods.

We are pleased to introduce an enriching international Teachers Volunteer Trip designed specifically for aspiring educators and socially driven students delivered at our projects in Kenya.

This immersive 10-day program from 30th July – 8th August 2026 offers participants the chance to work directly with children and local educators in underserved communities in western Kenya. Volunteers engage in meaningful classroom teaching, assist with lesson planning, and contribute to extracurricular activities such as arts, sports, and creative learning initiatives.

Beyond the classroom, participants can also lead workshops on important topics such as gender equality and mental health, helping foster holistic development within the community.

This program offers:

  • Hands-on teaching experience in an international setting
  • Cultural immersion in a vibrant rural Kenyan community
  • Collaboration with experienced educators and volunteers
  • Enhanced CV and career readiness through real-world impact work
  • Personal growth through meaningful service and reflection

Participants are fully supported throughout the journey, with accommodation, meals, local transportation, and on-ground assistance provided by dedicated teams.

More information is available on our website here: https://volunteerforcharity.org/package/teachers-volunteer-trip/

The trip costs £730 and covers all three meals as well as accommodation at Nasio’s guesthouse in Musanda, Kakamega County, Kenya.
